The UBA Ghana Foundation on Friday December 27, 2019 provided food and drinks to the less privileged in society as part of its corporate social responsibility.
Almost 800 people from within the Madina community patronised the maiden event dubbed UBA Foundation Food Bank.
Head of marketing at UBA Ghana, Emmanuel Efo Dzakpasu said “UBA decided to do this in order to support less privileged people on the streets as we celebrate the festive season”.
He said is because the bank attaches importance to the exercise that is why their executives of the bank have left their offices to join in serving the less privileged people in Madina.
“Christmas is a season of sharing and giving, we have decided to put a smile on peoples face this day, henceforth this initiative has come to stay on the UBA calendar and in our next edition we will rotate to ensure we maximize the joy it brings,” Mr Dzakpasu said.
Some of the beneficiaries expressed their appreciation to the bank for its thoughtfulness and care in providing for them during the Christmas season.
