The United Bank for Africa (UBA) is set to celebrate African Union Day with a virtual dialogue on the attainment of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
UBA Group worldwide has owned the AU Day celebration for the past few years with a vibrant and colourful presentation of the African culture.
As part of the celebration, UBA organizes thought leadership sessions to deliberate on important topics that affect the continent.
The topic for this years’ discussion is: ‘Domestic Policies, Regional Growth Plans, and A Global Agenda: SDGs & African Development at Crossroads’.
This year’s session will be panelled by Regional CEO, UBA West Africa, Abiola Bawuah (Ghana), Leadership Coach and Chairman of Go Ahead Africa Ltd Roland Kwemain (Cameroon), Founder and Executive Director of Social Change Factory Sobel Aziz Ngom (Senegal), and Senior Program Coordinator for Regional Network of Agricultural Policy Research Institutes (ReNAPRI) Dr Nalishebo Meebelo (Zambia).
Veteran Nigerian Journalist and Media Consultant Eugenia Abu will moderate the event which will be hosted via Zoom and broadcast live on UBA’s YouTube and Facebook feeds due to the current global constraints and the need to keep a social distance.
