#EndSars: Sportsmen and women in support of campaign
Many sports personalities have added their voice to the on-going #EndSars and #EndPoliceBrutality protests in Nigeria.
In recent weeks, Nigerians have demonstrated against the harsh conditions that have been meted out on them by the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS).
The unit was disbanded but the protests have continued, calling for an end to bad governance.
On Tuesday October 20, the situation escalated leading to deaths of some protesters.
This development has caught the attention of many sports persons around the world and some have taken to social media to condemn the violence and brutality in the oil-producing West African country.
