King Faisal goalie disappointed in Red Card against Dreams FC
King Faisal’s goalkeeper Kaisan Yusif has expressed his disappointment in the decision of referee Mohammed Misba to send him off against Dreams FC in their Week 7 Ghana Premier League game last Friday at the Nana Ameyaw Park.
Dreams FC had the equalizer through Victor Oduro after Kaisan’s dismissal in the second half.
Kwadwo Frimpong had scored in the first half to put King Faisal ahead.
Heartbroken Kaisan couldn’t hide his disappointment on the referee’s decision which led to his exit.
Speaking to Onua Sports, Kaisan claimed the center referee relied on the untrue narrations of the incident by a Dreams FC player to come to that conclusion.
‘’I asked [the referee] what my crime was but he was not able to point to me anything substantial. The Dreams FC player told the referee I abused him physically.”
Despite having to serve a two-match ban, Kaisan still believes the goalkeeping department of King Faisal will not be left vulnerable even in his absence as he is confident his colleagues in the role will showcase their prowess to help the club.
Losing four games and drawing two, King Faisal are looking forward to what will only be their second win this season as they face off with Bechem United at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park in Week 8 of the Ghana Premier League.
