Ghanaian dancehall musician, Shatta Wale has advised the conveners of the #FixTheCountry to direct their grievances in a better way.
The artist took to his social media pagesin the early hours of Wednesday, June 30, to address some issues relating to the attack and murder of member of the #FixTheCountry movement.
The post states that ‘let’s say eg: #Fixcapecoast – that way our leaders will have sopme idea on how they have to go about it but #Fixthecountry chinchinaaa dierr aden one president even can’t do it my guy’
The past few months saw active citizens on social media demanding accountability from the government with the hashtag#Fixthecountry.
Conveners have tried to stage a demonstration, the police and the court remained a hurdle in their way.
The award-winning artiste believes that the conveners must have a direct means of engaging the government and demanding accountability for all.
His other posts on social media also cautioned the many Ghanaians to remain calm and stop fighting the politicians.
He added that the Ghanaians should remain patient and seek the right channels to address their grievances.
‘You should stop this war with politicians, they are powerful and control all of us …lets all be patient in our dealings and deal right!!!’, he said.
Wale believes that doing the right things at the right time and in a right way would help solve the social issue at hand.
