Ghana defender Alexander Djiku is set to join German side Hoffenheim from Strasbourg.
Djiku has one year left on his contract with the French club but has decided to leave and is on the verge of securing a move to Hoffenheim, according to L’Équipe.
Hoffenheim is said to have reached an agreement with Strasbourg to purchase the centre-back for €6 million (excluding bonuses).
When Caen was sold to RCSA for €4 million in 2019, he kept 15% of the capital gain from a future transfer (i.e. €300,000 in this case).
Djiku will sign a four-year deal with the club, which finished ninth in the Bundesliga last season and gave him a tour of their facilities on Saturday.
This Wednesday at noon, all parties reached an agreement. Djiku will go to the doctor in the afternoon.
