There was a fire outbreak at the Police Training School at Tesano during the early hours of today, Sunday.
The fire gutted the tailoring shop of the police training school following which distress calls were made to the fire service and the formed police unit, for support.
It took over 30 minutes to bring the fire under control by the fire service personnel.
Giving details to Citi News on the fire, Isaac Kwesi Sorkpah, the Deputy Chief Superintendent of the Police Training school, said the shop was completely destroyed.
“Unfortunately, we have lost everything to the fire; the industrial machines we work with, all the materials that are here to be sown have all been destroyed by the fire.”
The cost of the damage is yet to be assessed.
