Corpus Christi School could not match their counterparts from the Silicon Valley International School after losing their preliminary contest in Citi TV’s Best Brain competition.
In the second episode of the show which aired on Saturday, the contestants from Silicon Valley managed a win over their opponents with a-19-point margin.
Having led all the rounds, Silicon Valley also becomes the first school to have recorded a perfect score of 10 points in the third round of the quiz known as the Brainiest Task.
At the end of the day’s proceedings, Silicon Valley amassed a total of 84 points whilst Corpus Christi went home with 65 points.
This means Silicon Valley School joins Happy Kids School as the two schools which have so far booked a place in the next stage of the competition.
Best Brain is a fun and educative quiz competition for Junior High Schools in Ghana.
The show airs every Saturday at 12noon on Citi TV.
In all, 12 schools are battling for a slot as the school which grooms Ghana’s best brains.
