A completed and fully equipped Community-Based Health Planning and Service (CHPS) compound at Kentinkrono in the Oforikrom Municipality of the Ashanti Region has been left at the mercy of the weather.
The facility, built by the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA) in 2014, and furnished with all the necessary equipment, is yet to be operational.
Residents want authorities to open the facility to improve health care delivery.
Citi News‘ Hafiz Tijani who visited the area reported that the situation is adversely affecting healthcare delivery.
