Adukrom, Dec 13, GNA - Mrs Esther Nimo, Assembly member for Adukrom electoral area in the Afram Plains North district says she wants another term to complete projects she started.
Mrs Nimo who is seeking re-election come December 17, disclosed that through her efforts, plans were advanced to construct classroom blocks for a number of communities in the area.
She mentioned that Kolape, Vegbe, Buenya, Duvorkope, Ofram, Bethel and some other areas were to benefit from kindergarten blocks to prevent children from walking several kilometres to and from school each day.
Mrs Nimo, who was speaking in an interview with the GNA said most parents failed to enroll their four-year old children in school due to the long distances they had to trek to school each day.
She allegedly lobbied the assembly to provide Community Health and Planning Services (CHPS) compound at Kwasikrobo and Adukrom Number one and want to have another term to ensure its completion.
According to the assembly member, her plan was to ensure that every community had a CHPS compound to provide access to healthcare for the people and schools in all the area to ensure that every child of school going age was not denied education
Mrs Nimo, a trader and a mother of four is contesting with three men for the position and has made an appeal to the electorate to support her to complete her projects for the area.
