Gyankama, Dec. 14, GNA - The Assembly Woman for Gyankama/Konkonuru Electoral Area in Akuapem South district, Ms Rhodaline Aidoo, says she is not dome with her vision for the area and so wants another chance to continue
Ms Aidoo who is the incumbent assembly member is a teacher by profession and the only female contesting with four male candidates in the electoral area.
Speaking with the GNA she said she had an unfinished business to improve the lot of the people in the area.
She said prior to her contest in the 2015 District level Election (DLE), women avoided politics and decision making adding that her election to the assembly whipped up interest of women in local governance.
Ms Aidoo disclosed that through her efforts Compassion Ghana, a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), supported over 50 school children with bursaries to continue their education and supported some youth to learn employable skills.
She said her vision of supporting traders especially women with soft loans to expand their businesses in partnership with NGOs would win her votes to be able to continue.
She has therefore made an appeal to the people to go all out and vote come December 17.
