AshantiGold majority shareholder Dr. Kweku Frimpong failed to deliver on his boast to give away his Lamborghini if his side lost to Asante Kotoko in a friendly.
On Sunday, the Miners were beaten 3-2 by the Porcupine Warriors at the Baba Yara Stadium in the first installment of their two-legged friendly.
Dr Frimpong, affectionately called Champion, claimed his club is the best team in the country with quality and seasoned players.
He bet his Lamborghini on the game and was going to give away his expensive car should Kotoko win the game.
After the match, he had to be escorted out of the stadium under police protection as the Kotoko supporters protested.
