The Black Stars have managed to score one goal in their last three games under CK Akonnor.
In the last three games, Ghana lost to Morocco by a lone goal in Rabat.
The team were held to a goalless draw against Côte d’Ivoire at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium with the two games played in June.
The Black Stars finally managed to score a goal against the Walias of Ethiopia in the 2022 World Cup qualifiers.
With the team struggling to score the Ghana coach stated his side create a lot of chances and is confident they will start scoring soon.
“If you watch our game we create a lot of chances. These same chances in our squad against Qatar scored five goals”, Akonnor said at the post-match conference.
“So it’s not a situation whereby we cannot score goals but now it seems so but I strongly believe we will score goals.
“We are doing well and creating chances. With time it will come”, he added.
Ghana lead Group G of the World Cup qualifiers after beating Ethiopia 1-0 at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium.
