The Old Students Association of Osei Tutu Senior High School (Abrempong) has presented Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) worth GH¢15,000 to their Alma Mater to help contain and protect students, teachers and non-teaching staff from the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
The PPE included three drums of hypochlorite, six gallons of hand sanitisers, 15 boxes of Guardian soap, six bags of powdered soap, 10 boxes of tissue paper, and five gallons of liquid soap especially for the Senior High School (SHS) three and second year gold track students who are back to school amidst the Coronavirus pandemic.
Mr. Joseph Opoku Siaw, National President of the Old Students Association, explained during the presentation ceremony that the gesture was a privilege to give back to the school as their corporate responsibility to ensure a COVID-19 free teaching and learning environment for the young ones to secure a better future.
He also urged stakeholders and individuals to assist the government in their own ways to fight the COVID-19 pandemic.
Dr. Asare Yeboah, Headmaster of Osei Tutu SHS, expressed profound gratitude to the Association for the kind gesture, and assured them that the items would be put to good use to enhance teaching, learning activities, and ensure the safety of teachers and students.
