The Moses Foh-Amoaning (MOFA) productions is set to roll out a special documentary series on the upcoming European Championship Germany 2024 on Ghana Television.
The 30-minute documentary will be a prelude for the June 14- July 14 championship expected to engage local soccer fans in love with European football.
In a statement signed by the President of MOFA Productions, Moses Foh-Amoaning, an experienced Lawyer and Journalist, the 13-part documentary will serve as a countdown series for the European football championship.
Dubbed the ‘European soccer fiesta’ to be aired on GTV Sports on Wednesdays (tonight) Fridays at 8pm, fans would be taken through European football archives with footages of the Penenka penalty of the 1976 tournament and Marco van Basten’s wonder goal in 1988.
“Viewers should also see segments like the ‘Legends of the Past’ focusing on European and world football greats like Russian goalkeeper, Lev Yashin, Germany superstar, Franz Berkenbauer, and Dutch legends, Johan Cruyff and Ruud Gullit.
Mr Foh-Amoaning, who doubles as Executive Producer cum Director of the series, stated that the best part would be the episode with the Top 10 Euro goals.
Supported by Hisense, Ghana Gas and Talent Microfinance, tonight’s edition will feature the 1976 and 1980 tournament won by Czechoslovakia and then West Germany.
