Yakubu Abubakari: GFA saddened by the death of former Black Stars midfielder

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has consoled the family of Yakubu Abubakari over the death of death of the former Ghana international

The Ghana Football Association has expressed deep regrets and sadness over the death of former Black Stars and Ajax midfielder Yakubu Abubakari.

Abubakari passed reported to have been under oxygen support at the Tema Government Hospital passed away on Tuesday.

Abubakari was a member of the Black Stars squad that qualified Ghana for their first ever FIFA World Cup in 2006
