Ghanaian winger Osman Bukari has officially joined Polish club Widzew Lodz on a permanent transfer from MLS side Austin FC, signing a contract until June 2030.
The pacey winger, who can play across the frontline, returns to Europe after stints in Slovakia, Belgium, France, and Serbia.â
Bukari came through Anderlecht’s academy before shining at AS Trencin, where he produced 16 goals and 25 assists in 66 games and earned a place in the league’s team of the season. Moves to Gent and then on loan to Nantes followed, but his real breakthrough came at Red Star Belgrade, scoring 25 goals and providing 20 assists in 78 matches, including Champions League strikes against Manchester City and Young Boys.â
In May 2024 he joined Austin FC, making 50 appearances with six goals and eight assists, three goals and five assists of them in the 2025 MLS season. Osman Bukari is expected to strengthen the frontline of Widzew Lodz in the Polish Ekstraklasa.
