Ghana forward Antoine Semenyo wants a decision over his future finalised before January 1, when the transfer window officially opens.
The 25-year-old has reportedly agreed to join Manchester City after Bournemouth accepted an offer from the former English champions.
City are expected to trigger Semenyo's £65 million release clause before it elapses on January 10, which also leaves the door open for Liverpool to gazump the move.
Although City remains favourite for his signature, reports indicate Bournemouth want the Ghana international to be available for the games against Arsenal and Tottenham during the festive period before departing to Etihad.
However, Semenyo is determined to see his dream move happen early January to avoid any last minute hitch.
The versatile attacker has been on the radar of several clubs after an outstanding campaign last season and early this campaign, where he has already netted nine league goals.
Manchester United, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur were also interested in the former Bristol City player.
