In-form Karela United travel to Abrankese for the final round of games in the first half of the season to face wobbly Nations FC.
The Tamale-based club have enjoyed a strong first half, sitting comfortably in seventh position with 24 points from 16 matches.
Meanwhile, Nations FC, who were contenders for the title last season have falling drastically, leading to the sacking of coach Kassim Mingle. Nations FC have accumulated only 19 points in 16 games, and are just two points above the drop zone.
Ahead of Sunday's game, the host have won two and lost three of their last five matches.
However, they will be boosted by the FA Cup win in midweek against Ashanti Gold 04. A game they won 3-0 at the Dr Kwame Kyei Sports Complex.
Karela United have lost only one of their last five matches, winning two and drawing two.
The two teams have met four times in the league, with Nations FC having a good record against Karela. The Kumasi-based club have won three of those four games. All matches ended in a 1-0 scoreline.
Nations FC will miss Prince Badu who left to join Asante Kotoko in the transfer window, but can count on captain Razak Simpson and Faisal Charwetey to deliver against Karela.
Malik Abubakar, Bless Ege and Eric Antwi Konadu will be heavily relied on by the visitors.
