Asante Kotoko SC have been fined GHS 10,000 and issued a warning by the Ghana Football Association’s Disciplinary Committee following misconduct during their Ghana Premier League match against Medeama SC.
The decision relates to the league fixture played in November 2025 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi, where Kotoko scored two late goals to secure a draw.
According to the GFA, Kotoko were found guilty of failing to ensure the safety of match officials. The club was also cited for allowing supporters to threaten and attack officials, as well as permitting unauthorised persons access to restricted areas, including the tunnel.
The fine is to be paid within fourteen days of formal notification of the ruling.
