English-Ghanaian striker Sean Adarkwa was the difference-maker as Wealdstone edged Brackley Town 2â1 at Grosvenor Vale in the National League.
Adarkwa opened the scoring on 31 minutes, finishing calmly after good work from Micah Obiero to give the hosts a deserved lead.
Wealdstone built on that platform after the break, with Nathan Tshikuna doubling the advantage midway through the second half to put them firmly in control. Brackley hit back through Morgan Roberts on 78 minutes, setting up a tense finale, but the Stones defended bravely to see out the win.
Adarkwa led the line with power and intelligence, holding the ball up and stretching the Brackley defence before being substituted on 62 minutes.
The goal continues a strong 2025/26 National League campaign for Adarkwa, who now has four goals in 17 appearances for the Royals.
Wealdstone will look to carry this momentum into their next fixture away to Kidderminster Harriers in the FA Trophy on Saturday, February 28.
