The two officers who tampered with the presidential ballot in Awutu Senya West and Bawuku Central constituencies have been arrested.
The officers are Mary Adatsi in the Awutu Senya constituency and Ahmed Shafawu in the Bawku Central constituency.
The suspected officers were removed from their post prior to their arrest.
The EC has indicated that all presidential candidates should appear on a thumb-printed ballot paper before it will be considered as valid and counted.
It has also charged agents of political parties and candidates as well as the general public to be vigilant to ensure free and fair elections.
