The head coach of Eleven Wonders, Emmanuel Aidoo, shared his disappointment on Wednesday, after his team suffered a 2-0 defeat to Asante Kotoko in the Ghana Premier League.
Wonders hosted the Porcupine Warriors at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium, hoping to securewhat would have been just their second win of the 2025/26 league campaign.
Speaking in his post-match interview after the defeat, Coach Aidoo acknowledged that his players didn’t play badly, but bemoaned how they committed silly mistakes in the second half.
“We have lost, so you can’t praise a team that has lost. I think the players did what they were supposed to do. In the second half, we committed some silly mistakes which led to the second goal,” the Eleven Wonders coach said.
With relegation staring in the face of Eleven Wonders, Emmanuel Aidoo insists that his team must double their efforts in the upcoming matches.
“We have been trying to do our best, but it’s just not enough. We need to do more,” Aidoo said.
The defeat to Asante Kotoko means Eleven Wonders stay bottom of the Ghana Premier League standings after 15 matches.
