Midfielder Prince Badu has described his move to Ghana Premier League giants Asante Kotoko as a big moment in his career.
The defensive midfielder signed for the Porcupine Warriors on a three-year contract on Wednesday, December 31.
Speaking in his maiden interview, Badu admitted that the expectation at his new club is huge. Ready for the challenge ahead, the midfielder said the high expectation only motivates him to work hard and give his all to the club.
“Joining Kotoko is a big moment for me. This is the biggest club in the country, and I’m grateful for the opportunity. I know the expectations are high here, but that’s what motivates me as a player,” Prince Badu told AKSC Media.
He added, “I’m ready to work hard, learn, and give my best whenever I’m called upon. I want to help the team in any way I can and grow with the club over the next few years.”
The midfielder joined the Reds from fellow Ghana Premier League side Nations FC and is eager to make a mark at his new club.
At Asante Kotoko, Prince Badu will wear the number 44 jersey.
