Vision FC head coach Nana Kweku Agyemang says belief has finally translated into results after his side claimed their first away victory of the 2025â2026 Ghana Premier League season with a shock 1â0 win over Aduana Stars in Dormaa.
The upset against the title contenders brought the first half of Vision’s campaign to a close and lifted the club to 11th on the league table, creating valuable breathing space above the relegation zone.
For Agyemang, the result was not just three points, but a validation of a long-standing message delivered to one of the youngest squads in the league.
“We’ve always asked them to believe in themselves. This is the youngest team in the Ghana Premier League so what we needed was belief,” the coach said in his post-match remarks.
Vision’s struggles away from home had been a defining feature of their season, making the Dormaa result a significant psychological breakthrough.
Agyemang believes the victory reinforces the idea that his players can compete anywhere, not only on familiar ground.
“So I think that this [win] will sell our message very well for them to realize thatâ¦they should be able to fight not only win or home games but be able to go away and also get the results,” he added.
The coach admitted the milestone carried special meaning, underlining its importance for a developing side finding its feet in the top flight. “For us as Vision, our first away win this season is amazing,” Agyemang said.
With renewed confidence and momentum, Vision FC now turn their attention to the second half of the campaign, buoyed by a result that could define their season.
