Head coach of Medeama SC Ibrahim Tanko has eulogized his outfit victory against Karela United in matchday 20 of the Ghana premier League.
The Yellow and Mauve underlined their status as a serious title contenders following their commanding 3-1 victory over the Passion and Pride Boys at the TNA Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
Experienced right-back Kamaradini Mamudu was the standout performer at the TnA Stadium in Tarkwa, scoring twice to inspire another dominant display from the Mauve and Yellow.
Speaking after the match, the former Ghana assistant trainer expressed satisfaction with the performance of his team, crediting team bonding for recent outstanding display.
“The first 20 minutes was good for us. We kept the ball well and created chances and scored two goals. But then, we lost concentration and conceded a goal. The pressure was on us but we managed for the half time break. At the end, we got a good counter goal which Kamaradini scored. In all, I think it was a good performance from us” he said.
With 43 points from 20 matches, Medeama now sit eight points clear at the summit, while Aduana FC and Asante Kotoko are locked on 35 points in second and third place respectively.
