The reconstituted Management Committee and Technical Team of Ghana’s national men’s Under-20 side, the Black Satellites, have held their first official meeting as preparations begin for future international assignments.
The meeting took place on Thursday, January 29, 2026, at the Football Association headquarters and was chaired by Management Committee Chairman Alhaji Abu-Hassan Mahamadu, popularly known as Rhyzo. He formally welcomed members and urged them to approach their duties with commitment, professionalism and responsibility.
Alhaji Rhyzo stressed the need for teamwork and long-term planning, charging the committee and technical team to justify the confidence reposed in them by the FA leadership. Although the Black Satellites have no immediate international engagement until after the 2026 FIFA World Cup, discussions focused on early planning and preparation ahead of the next qualification cycle.
Head coach Maxwell Konadu attended with his backroom staff, with technical alignment forming a key part of the discussions.
