Ghanaian forward Kwaku Karikari delivered a clinical performance as Zeleznicar Pancevo earned a commanding 2â0 home victory over Vojvodina in the Serbian Super Liga.
After Stefan Pirgic opened the scoring from the penalty spot on 26 minutes, Karikari doubled the lead just two minutes later, finishing calmly from a Simão Pedro assist to put Zeleznicar firmly in control.
The hosts were ruthless in the first half, striking twice in quick succession and then managing the game smartly from there. Vojvodina enjoyed more of the ball and fired in 18 shots to Zeleznicar’s 10, but the visitors struggled to create clear-cut chances, with the home defence and goalkeeper Zoran Popovic standing strong when tested.
Karikari’s goal capped a strong all-round display leading the line, constantly stretching Vojvodina’s back four and offering an outlet on the counter. His influence has been growing throughout the 2025/26 Serbian Super Liga campaign, where he continues to add important goals and link-up play to Zeleznicar’s attack.
The win continues a positive run of form for Zeleznicar Pancevo, who now turn their focus to their next league fixture away to TSC Backa Topola on Saturday, March 7.
