Former Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan has reaffirmed his support for Puma following the unveiling of the Black Stars’ new kits.
The new designs blend tradition with modern aesthetics, with the home jersey featuring a white and gold-yellow palette detailed with intricate Adinkra symbols, reflecting Ghana’s cultural identity. The away kit, meanwhile, takes on a more versatile, lifestyle-inspired look aimed at both performance and everyday wear.
Gyan, who has long-standing ties with the global sportswear brand, spoke positively about Puma’s role in supporting Ghana football over the years.
“PUMA has been our main sponsor for more than a decade. In Ghana, and in a World Cup year, to have the national team jerseys and everything, I’m very happy to be a part of it,” he said.
The former striker also highlighted his personal connection with the brand, having worked with Puma during his playing career.
“I know what PUMA has done for me and what PUMA is doing for my country as well, and other countries. So I’m here for PUMA,” he added.
The latest kit launch comes as Ghana prepare for upcoming international assignments, including the 2026 World Cup in North America. Ghana will face Panama, Croatia and England in the group stage.
