Head coach of Dreams FC, Wilfred Dormon has eulogized his outfit outstanding display following victory over Medeama in the Ghana Premier League.
The Still Believe lads cruised to a 2-1 victory over Medeama in week 26 of the Premier League campaign, posing threats to the Yellow and Mauve title ambition. The results has reshaped the title race with just eight matches left to play.
Medeama, who once held a commanding eight-point lead at the top, have now dropped to second place on 46 points, two behind defending champions Bibiani Gold Stars, who seized the opportunity with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Vision FC.
“Honestly, we knew going into this game that it would be very challenging. Medeama are chasing the league, and they proved they are such a strong team. My main disappointment was the first halfâwe had numerous scoring opportunities that we failed to convert. We could have settled the game early. Still, it’s a good result for Dreams FC and a solid performance, but we know there’s still plenty of work ahead.”
The Still Believe lads are currently ninth on the Ghana Premier League standings, accumulating 24 points after 26 matches.
With eight matches to end the season, Dormon and his charges will be hoping to push further in an attempt to finish in a respectable position.
