Ghana international Yaw Yeboah proved decisive as he scored the only goal to hand Qingdao Hainiu a hard-fought victory over Henan FC in the Chinese Super League.
The former Black Stars winger started and played the full duration of the game, inspiring Qingdao Hainiu to a narrow 1-0 win in a fiercely contested encounter at the Qingdao Youth Football Stadium on Saturday morning.
Both sides delivered an intense first-half display but failed to find the breakthrough, heading into the break locked at 0-0 after a pulsating contest.
After the restart, Yeboah rose to the occasion, netting the decisive goal in the 60th minute to separate the two teams.
The 29-year-old continues to impress since his arrival, taking his tally to two goals in four league appearances this season.
Yeboah joined Qingdao Hainiu at the start of the 2026 Chinese Super League campaign in February and has quickly established himself as a key figure for the club.
