Ghana forward Antoine Semenyo has opened up on a light moment with Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola.
The 26-year-old is enjoying a blistering start to his career at the Etihad Stadium, and could end the season with a potential treble.
Semenyo won his first major career title after playing a role in City's Carabao Cup success early this month.
However, he missed the FA Cup semi-final victory over Southampton at Wembley on Saturday afternoon.
Speaking on his early encounter with Guardiola, and what the manager told him, Semenyo disclosed the ex-Barcelona gaffer was so passionate which left him laughing on his own.
"He was just so energetic. Went into his office, soft music playing in the background, smells so nice in his office," he told All Out Football Podcast.
"He was like, âWe’re happy to have you here. Continue your fine form and hopefully [we’ll] compete for the league’.
"He’s generally relaxed. It’s when you get into meetings, that’s where he’s serious.
"I remember the first meeting I had, he was just pacing in front of the room. [I was] thinking, âIs this normal?’ Looking back, no-one’s laughing, so I’m on my own. He’s so passionate," Antoine added.
Semenyo has already netted 5 Premier League goals at City, to add to the ten he had in the first half of the campaign from AFC Bournemouth.
