Togo-Ghana centre-back Kennedy Boateng, who is currently without a club after leaving FC Dinamo, is being linked with a move to Romanian SuperLiga side FCSB.
Boateng, 29, ended his association with Dinamo on 1 July 2026, having spent two seasons with the Romanian club. He joined Dinamo from Austrian side Austria Lustenau in July 2024 on a free transfer.
The defender has made 53 appearances in the SuperLiga, scoring six goals and providing one assist. He has also played in Portugal’s top flight and Austria’s second tier during a senior career that began with LASK.
Boateng’s departure leaves him available to join FCSB without a transfer fee, although there is no indication that a deal has been agreed or that negotiations have reached an advanced stage. His current listed market value is €1.2m.
The right-footed centre-back was born in Tamale and stands 1.91m tall. He has represented both Togo and Ghana at nationality level, as recorded in his player profile.
FCSB and FC Dinamo compete in the same division, with the potential move coming shortly after Boateng’s departure from Dinamo. For now, the player remains unattached as he considers his next club.
