Swedru All Blacks continued their preparations for the 2026/27 football season with a 2-1 victory over Cheetah FC in a friendly on Thursday.
The Ghana Premier League side are using their pre-season programme to build towards a stronger campaign after narrowly avoiding relegation last season.
Swedru All Blacks finished 15th in the league last season with 44 points, just one point above the relegation zone.
Determined to avoid another difficult season, the Swedru-based club have strengthened their squad during the off-season as they look to improve their league performance.
The friendly against Cheetah FC provided another opportunity for the coaching staff to assess the new-look squad and improve match readiness ahead of the start of the campaign.
Abubakar Zayat and Musah Salisu were on target for All Blacks to secure the victory, despite a determined showing from Cheetah FC.
