FC Samartex have completed the permanent signing of highly rated midfielder Meshack Adjetey Sowah from Vision FC, with the 21-year-old putting pen to paper on a deal that marks a new chapter in his career.
Sowah has been one of the standout performers in the Ghana Premier League, making 25 appearances for Vision FC during the 2025/26 season.
His creativity, energy, and ability to dictate play from midfield have made him one of the most sought-after domestic players in the current transfer window.
Samartex have been pursuing Sowah for several weeks, facing competition from Hearts of Oak, who also expressed strong interest in the midfielder.
However, the Timber Giants have won the race for his signature, with Sowah now set to join a club that finished fifth in the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season with 50 points.
The move reunites Sowah with Coach Nana Kweku Agyemang, who previously managed the midfielder at Vision FC. Agyemang, who recently took over as Samartex head coach, had recommended Sowah to the club.
Samartex will be hoping to integrate Sowah quickly as they prepare for the new season. The midfielder will be expected to add creativity and energy to the Timber Giants' midfield as they aim to improve on their fifth-place finish last season.
