Dwomoh moved to Watford from Royal Antwerp for €1m on 26 August 2024. His transfer to Lierse was completed on 27 August 2026, with his market value listed at €1.5m at the time of the move.
Born in Gent, Dwomoh holds Belgian and Ghanaian nationality. He is 1.88m tall and prefers his right foot, with his central midfield role forming the main part of his playing profile.
Before joining Watford, Dwomoh spent two seasons with Antwerp. He initially completed a €2m move to the club from Genk in August 2021, before going out on loan to Braga B and KV Oostende during the 2022-23 campaign.
The midfielder then spent the 2023-24 season on loan at RWDM. He returned to Antwerp at the end of that season before making the permanent switch to Watford.
Dwomoh began his senior career after progressing through Genk’s system, having joined the club from Anderlecht’s youth setup in 2016. His early development also included time with KV Mechelen’s youth teams before the move to Anderlecht.
His arrival gives Lierse a player with experience in Belgian football and a spell in the English Championship. Watford’s 2026-27 campaign had included Championship and EFL Cup fixtures by the time of the move, while Dwomoh had not made an appearance in either competition.
The move also brings an end to Dwomoh’s time in England and places him back in the Belgian league structure, where he previously represented Antwerp and RWDM.
Dwomoh’s transfer to Lierse was completed as a free move on 27 August 2026, with his new contract set to run for two years.
