Italy-Ghana winger Patrick Nuamah has joined CE Sabadell from Sassuolo on loan, completing a move from Serie A to Spain’s LaLiga2.
The 20-year-old left winger’s switch was completed on 28 August 2026, with the loan scheduled to run until 30 June 2027. Nuamah’s contract is also listed as running until that date, while the move includes a return to Sassuolo at the end of the loan.
Nuamah arrives at Sabadell after spending the 2025-26 season on loan at Catanzaro. He returned to Sassuolo on 30 June before making the move to Spain, having previously joined Catanzaro on a temporary deal in July 2025.
Born in Brescia, Nuamah began his development with Brescia’s youth teams before progressing to Brescia Under-17s and then the senior side. He joined Sassuolo from Brescia on a free transfer on 19 July 2025, shortly before starting his loan spell with Catanzaro.
The winger stands 1.79m tall and is right-footed. His principal position is on the left flank, giving Sabadell a player who can operate in a wide attacking role. His market value is listed at €1.6m.
Nuamah holds Italian and Ghanaian nationalities. His move to Sabadell represents his latest club change after spells with Brescia, Sassuolo and Catanzaro, and places him in Spain’s second tier for the 2026-27 season.
Sabadell have therefore added Nuamah to their squad on a temporary basis from Sassuolo, with the player due to return to the Italian club when the loan ends.
