TP Mazembe head coach Slimane Raho believes their CAF Champions League preliminary round tie against Medeama Sporting Club is far from over despite securing a first-leg advantage.
The DR Congo champions defeated Medeama 1-0 at the TNA Stadium in Tarkwa on Sunday, scoring late to take control of the tie.
However, Raho has warned his players that the job is not done and praised Medeama for their performance in the first leg.
“Medeama SC is a very good team, a very, very good team. I felt it in the game. We (TP Mazembe) would have to confirm qualification in Lubumbashi,” Raho said after the match.
The Mazembe coach believes his side will need to show the same courage and intelligence when the two teams meet again in the second leg.
“It's about courage and being intelligent, and that is what we showed today. We will show more of this in the return leg,” he added.
Medeama will travel to Lubumbashi looking to overturn the deficit and keep their CAF Champions League campaign alive.
The Ghanaian champions are seeking to progress to the next stage as they continue their push for another appearance in the competition's group stage.
