Arago, 33, joined Al-Ta’awon from Kosovo side SC Gjilani on 26 September 2025. The transfer was completed without a fee, ending his spell with Gjilani after a season away from the game.
The left-footed defender has made 15 appearances in Libya’s Premier League and previously recorded 17 appearances in Saudi Arabia’s First Division League. He has also played extensively in Kosovo, where he made 107 appearances in the top flight, scoring once and providing four assists.
Born in Accra, Arago has represented both Liberia and Ghana in his footballing background and stands 1.85m tall. His career has included spells with clubs in Kosovo, Saudi Arabia, Azerbaijan, Finland and Greece, although his most recent move was to Al-Ta’awon.
The reported interest from Samaleswari comes with Arago’s current market valuation listed at €100,000. No transfer fee or contract terms have been reported, and the move remains unconfirmed.
Arago remains registered as an Al-Ta’awon player, with the Libyan club his current side as speculation over a possible switch to India develops.
