England and Ghana-qualified defender Jamal Mohammed has joined King’s Lynn from West Bromwich Albion’s under-21 side on loan.
The 20-year-old centre-back completed the move on 19 September 2026 and will remain with the National League North club until 17 October. No transfer fee has been disclosed for the temporary switch.
Mohammed began the 2026-27 campaign with West Brom’s development side, making two appearances in the National League Cup and two in Premier League 2. He has not scored in those four outings.
The move to King’s Lynn represents the latest loan spell in a short senior career for the London-born defender. Mohammed previously spent part of the 2025-26 season at Gloucester, joining the club on loan from West Brom U21 in January before returning to the Midlands side in April.
He joined West Brom’s under-21 squad permanently from the club’s under-18s in July 2024, having previously been part of West Brom’s youth set-up. His latest move takes him from Premier League 2 football to the National League North.
Mohammed is listed at 1.96m and plays at centre-back, with his right foot his preferred side. He holds both English and Ghanaian nationality.
The defender’s arrival adds a young central defensive option to King’s Lynn’s squad for the opening part of the 2026-27 season. His loan is scheduled to conclude on 17 October, when he is due to return to West Brom U21.
Mohammed has therefore moved from West Brom U21 to King’s Lynn on a completed loan transfer.
