Ghanaian duo Ampomah, Ofori on target as Fortuna Düsseldorf whip Villingen 3-1

Ghanaian duo Nana Opoku Ampomah and Kevin Ofori were on target for Fortuna Düsseldorf in their 3-1 vital away win over FC 08 Villingen in the DRB Pokal.

Nigerian midfielder Stephen Ukoh fired the home side into the lead from the spot with three minutes to end the first half to set the EBM-Papst Station ablaze.

But Nana Ampomah short-lived their ecstacy when he restored parity for the visitors 10 minutes into the second half.

Kevin Ofori who came on for Nana Ampomah in the 56th minute sent the stadium into complete silence with a late strike in extra time.

German striker Rouwen Hennings deepened the woes of the home side with a 116th strike to leave the score line at 1-3 for the visitors.

Both Bernard Terkpetey and Nana Ampomah were substituted from the game on the 46th and 56th minutes respectively.

Kassim Adam was not on the team sheet as he joined the side less than 5 days ago.
