iworld, authorised local distributor of Apple electronic products and accessories, is offering salaried workers the opportunity to own an Apple tablet and spread the payment over a one-year period.
The offer, which takes effect from Friday, is to enable workers own genuine and latest Apple products that come with a special two-year warranty.
The Head of Technical Team of iworld, Michael Kwabena Aboagye, disclosed this at a media briefing to officially open the iworld Apple shop off the Oxford Street, Osu, Accra.
“What iworld is doing is to bring Apple products closer to local consumers, in partnership with South African-based Core Group Africa-- the main Apple distributor for Africa. Every salaried worker can now acquire an iPad, iPod, Apple book air and any of the Apple products, with the payment spread over a year.â€
The shop also stocks iTunes vouchers that will make it easy for consumers to purchase directly from the Apple store.
Mr. Aboagye indicated that the technical support department of the shop will offer technical assistance and offer after-sales support to all consumers of Apple products in the country.
Apple is an American multinational corporation that designs, develops, and sells consumer electronics, computer software, and personal computers. Its best-known hardware products are the Mac line of computers, the iPod, the iPhone, and the iPad.
Its software includes the OS X and iOS operating systems, the iTunes media browser, the Safari web browser, and the iLife and iWork creativity and production suites.
