Terri Young, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Founder of Z3 Carolinas and Z3 Ghana, has stated that her company’s operations in Ghana are focused on helping local Ghanaians and members of the diaspora access homeownership through education, transparency and affordable housing options.
She made this statement while speaking to B&FT at the Z3 Ghana launch and networking ceremony organised by Z3 Ghana in partnership with E.Wells Realty and Consultancy in Accra.
“We are a full real estate agent; so we help not only investors but local Ghanaians to become first-time homeowners,” she said.
According to her, the company is intentionally directing part of its work toward first-time homebuyers who often lack clear information about the property acquisition process.
Ms. Young explained that her collaboration with E.Wells Realty and Consultancy is based on a shared interest in increasing homeownership among local Ghanaians. She added that both parties are focused on practical solutions that address affordability and access.
“What really connected me with E-Wells is that they have the same passion as I do, to make sure that local Ghanaians become first time homeowners; and that is really where I am focusing on,” she mentioned.
“God has really called me to help them become homeowners so I’m looking at affordable housing and working with different developers to build that,” she added.
She revealed that education is a key part of Z3 Ghana’s approach. The company describes itself as an education-focused platform that aims to provide clear and accurate information on real estate processes, including purchasing, development and investment. This applies to both local residents and members of the Ghanaian diaspora.
Ms. Young explained that when people are given complete and accurate information, they are better positioned to make informed and practical decisions that suit their current needs.
“As long as everyone has all the information they need, they will be empowered to make the best decisions,” she said.
In addition to education, Z3 Ghana is exploring alternative housing models that could reduce construction costs. It is also assessing innovative housing options, including concepts similar to “tiny homes” used in the United States, to determine their suitability for the Ghanaian market.
“Innovation is about housing that lowers the cost to help local Ghanaians become homeowners,” she explained. “These options cost less and streamline the building process.”
With its launch, Z3 Ghana is positioning itself as a real estate platform focused on education, affordability and practical support for homeownership in Ghana.
