The certainties of life is as follows: Problems would come your way, whether you like it or not, especially when you decide to move from point A to B.
The problem is not necessarily meant to destroy you. It is meant for you to develop.
You can only develop if you have already decided to tackle it head on. That problem is just to sharpen you out of your usual habit of comfort that needs to be eliminated or eradicated for the next phase of your life.
So, for example, you have decided to create your own business and as a fresh graduate, everyone thinks you cannot sell groundnuts – it is demeaning or beneath your status.
Now shyness is stopping you from doing so. This becomes a problem for you to deal with. Until you decide to learn how to be confident and believe in yourself about selling groundnuts, you will never be able to create your own business.
Do not bother about your age; everyone would grow and these issues of lifestyle diseases would eventually catch up with you. Well, we all would grow but one can choose to ensure this problem of casting everyone into this same mould does not fit you as a normal thing to expect. Because one can choose to ensure he or she understands their own human anatomy, learning and imbibing knowledge on what it takes to have great health as you grow.
The certainties of life is that it will stretch you beyond your comfort zones. It does not matter whether you are a good person or not. So far as you dare to do anything beyond your current disposition, life would squeeze and stretch you. To some, they think others do not have problems; but believe you me, there is something going on with each one of us at every moment.
For those who are able to show stillness and calmness, it is because they have the knowledge that this is life and whatever problem is solvable if only, they will not exaggerate theirs and quietly work it through to their next level of growth.
So, it does not matter what you are going through; do not think you cannot survive it, do not think of giving up, do not think it is too late. Finally, remember you are never the problem; learn to separate yourself from the problem and take it head on. It does not matter the embarrassment; just know that you are never that problem but someone enduring to make it through life.
You see, problems are like exams; they test your knowledge, skills and character. And just like exams, you can prepare for them, face them head on and come out stronger on the other side.
The key is to stay focused, stay positive and keep moving forward.
Do not let the problem define you; define the problem and tackle it with everything you have gotten. And always remember, you are not alone in this journey.
Everyone faces problems; but it is how you respond that matters.
So, take a deep breath, gather your strength and face whatever comes your way with courage and determination.
