A delegation from the University of Professional Studies-Accra (UPSA) led by Chairman of the UPSA 60th Anniversary Planning Committee and Chief Executive Officer-Chartered Institute of Marketing, Ghana (CIMG), Kwabena Agyekum,on Monday paid a courtesy call on the Commissioner-General Anthony Kwasi Sarpong and Dr. Martin Kolbil Yambrigya at the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA).
Mr. Agyekum congratulated the leadership on their appointments and commended the Commission’s work, emphasising the growing impact of UPSA graduates across national institutions.
Vice Chairman of the Planning Committee and President-UPSA Global Alumni Association, Francis Dadzie, highlighted the visit’s purpose and officially invited GRA to the UPSA @60 anniversary celebrations.

He also announced that the Institute of Professional Studies (IPS) will be relaunched on 17th March 2026, also a Public Annual Lecture and Business Conference will be held in May.
The Asantehene, an alumnus of UPSA, is expected to attend the celebrations.
In his remarks, Dr. Martin Kolbil Yambrigya praised UPSA for its strong leadership and discipline – noting his pride as an alumnus and pledging to mobilise GRA alumni to support the anniversary activities. He also shared fond memories from his student days.
Members of the UPSA delegation included Prof. Fidelis Quansah (Director, IPS); Dr. Leticia Akyeampong (Deputy Director, Administration); and Dr. Juliana A. Andoh. The GRA team present included Annette Kwoffie – Communication & Public Affairs; Felicia Afunyabae; and Christopher K. Beyereh.
