GIFEC supports chieftaincy with 45 desktop computers
Kumasi, Nov 15, GNA - Ghana Investment Fund for Electronic Communications (GIFEC) has donated 45 desktop computers and accessories valued at GH¢88,500.00 to support chieftaincy in Ghana.
The National House of Chiefs (NHC) received 10 of the computers, the 10 Regional Houses of Chiefs received two computers each, and 15 went to the Ministry of Chieftaincy and Culture.
Mr. Kofi Attor, Administrator/Chief Executive Officer of GIFEC, handed over the NHC’s share of the computers and accessories including a printer, wireless home router and 10 UPS, at a ceremony in Kumasi.
He said he was confident that the equipment would help facilitate operations of the NHC, and gave the assurance that GIFEC would continue to give technical support to chieftaincy.
Naa Professor John S. Nabila, President of the National House of Chiefs thanked GIFEC for its contribution to the development of chieftaincy.
