Overcomers Worship Centre Celebrates 5th Anniversary
Accra, Nov. 18, GNA - Reverend Maxwell Owusu Frimpong, General Overseer of Overcomers Worship Centre at the weekend called on Ghanaians to help promote and maintain peace before, during and after the elections.
He said “'as we tolerate each other, we please God by obeying his principles".
Reverend Frimpong was speaking as the main preacher at the fifth anniversary celebration of the Centre, at Nungua in Greater Accra Region.
As part of the anniversary celebration, which took effect from October 13 to November 18, the church organised a clean-up exercise and health walk in the Nungua community.
A week crusade and revival was also organised to thank God for his goodness and protection over the church.
“Winning power at all cost is not the ultimate (So Ghanaians should not ) accept any offer to create violence during elections.” Reverend Frimpong advised.
Although all the candidates contesting for the parliamentary seat of Krowor at Nungua were invited, only Madam Kate Quaye representing Convention Peoples Party was present.
Madam Quaye promised to use her common fund to a provide place of convenience for every community in the constituency and roads to ease the traffic in the community.
She advised women with interested in politics to participate in it fully.
