Ghana international Jordan Ayew registered an assist for Leicester City in their English Championship clash against Watford on Friday.
The Black Stars captain started and played full throttle of the match as the Foxes succumbed to a 2-1 home defeat to Watford in a high-stake clash, held at the King Power Stadium.
Despite the defeat, Ayew was one of the standout performers for the home team, setting Jordan James for the opening goal after just seven minutes into the match.
Leicester City threw away their early goal, as Watford staged a strong comeback to secure a crucial away victory.
Morocco international Othmane Maamma pulled parity for the visitors in the 45th-minute mark before Matthew Pollock scored to seal victory for his outfit in the 65th-minute.
The 34-year-old attacker has made 21 appearances for the Foxes this season, scoring four goals and delivering two assists across the period.
Meanwhile, Ayew’s compatriot, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku lasted the entire duration of the match as his outfit fell short to Watford.
