Medeama SC have been fined GHS 10,000 and issued a stern warning by the Ghana Football Association Disciplinary Committee for misconduct in their Ghana Premier League clash against Young Apostles.
The fine stem from the club’s failure to ensure that players’ had their names displayed on the back of their strips during the Premier League matchday one clash.
The fine is to be paid by Medeama within fourteen days of formal notification of the ruling.
Medeama SC have been outstanding since the commencement of the domestic top-flight campaign. After 17 matches, the Yellow and Mauve sit top of the premier League standings with 34 points.
Coach Ibrahim Tanko and his charges are in search of their second Premier League title, having last won the domestic top-flight three seasons ago.
