Communications Director of Asante Kotoko, Sarfo Duku, has expressed his displeasure about the inconsistent performance of his side in the ongoing 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season.
After 18 matches played, the Porcupine Warriors currently occupy fifth place on the league table with 31 points, six points behind leaders Medeama SC.
Speaking ahead of their trip to Bibiani GoldStars for the Matchday 19 games, Duku admitted he is not satisfied with the team’s overall performance.
“I don't think it's the best if you want to win the league, so honestly, we are not satisfied with the performance of the team so far," he told LUV FM.
While recent results have been inconsistent, Duku believes the team still has what it takes to compete for the championship.
“Of course, that is what we hope to achieve for this particular season, and I believe that it is still within our capacity and ability to do, to achieve, except that things are becoming difficult for us," he said.
He added that the club’s management is working hard to steer the team back on course.
“That is why we are doing all that we can as management to ensure that things are shaped up and then to be able to turn the fortunes of the club, as you are witnessing now," he added.
